Great location, cute house, large property for kids to play, walk to the beach!

This is a fairly well maintained rustic Cape property and if we were staying in season would have been lovely. Our stay however was in the middle of October. The windows on the first floor do not close all the way so the house was drafty and cold. The other issue is that the only shower at the property is outdoors, so in cold and rainy conditions, your options are to take a bath or brave the conditions.

This is a very charming old little house. The setting is spectacular - a short walk to Skaket Creek and the nearby tidal flats, which are absolutely beautifu. A little hard for us elderly types to get up and down the narrow stairs, but not a serious problem. The listing mentioned a shower in the bathroom, which is not there. There is no laundry, but otherwise the house is well equipped. The TV is smaller than most people are probably accustomed to now, but it worked fine, and even though I could not for the life of me figure out how to use the remote control, the voice function worked perfectly;and enabled us to sign in to our Netflix account and keep watching the series we were involve in. The TV does have a a free HDMI connection, so I could plug in the ROKU that I brought, but unfortunately I forgot to bring the ROKU remote, so it didn't do any good. Oh well. The house has three bedrooms upstairs;one is small, and the other two are tiny, each stuffed with two twin beds. There are three small rooms on the first floor, all running into each other. We are two visitors;I think the house would feel very crowded if there had been more than just the two of us there.

A quintessential, old school Cape Cod beach house. Very cozy, with lots of privacy.
