11143 - End-of-the-Line: Take a trip to the end of the line this summer and spend a week at our Historic Provincetown home (originally built circa 1880 to house the stationmaster for the final stop on the Cape Rail Trail!) Our two-story stand-alone home accommodates up to 8 of your closest friends and family and offers an abundance of privacy that you do not typically find in a Provincetown rental. Enjoy exclusive access to a private patio and backyard, all while being less than a 5-minute walk to town or the bayside beaches!
Open up the sky blue front door to enter our home and get ready to leave your worries behind! Start your day by quickly checking emails or scrolling social media from our Work-From-Home Station-- set up in front of a window by the entry to allow you to overlook the vibrantly green garden and backyard as you work! Pour yourself a cup-a-coffee (or run out and buy one from the Wired Puppy) and enjoy it in your bathrobe in the cozy private sitting area-- complete with a gas fireplace to warm you up on those cold and dewy mornings. Head into the next room to whip up a homemade breakfast for the crew in the remodeled kitchen-- stocked and ready with all the Stainless Steel Appliances you will need, a deep sink, and lots of available countertop space for prepping! Gather around in the dining room to enjoy a group meal, or take your plate outside to eat under the morning sun on the patio. After your meal, laze over to the living room to collapse onto the cozy and plush sectional as you catch this morning’s Today Show and plan your next moves. There is also a Full Bathroom featuring a sleek glass and white subway tile shower stall with Rain Shower Head, and stackable Amana Washer/Dryer located on this first floor.
Travel up the stairs and split into one of the four bedrooms to get ready for the day. All bedrooms are on the second floor and feature vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, nightstands, table lamps, and A/C (either a mini-split or Window Unit). The first bedroom boasts a Queen Bed decorated in white, with a rustic natural wood ceiling, and a beaming skylight. The second bedroom (the smallest room) also holds a Queen Bed and allows in lots of natural light through the skylight and window. The final two bedrooms are a bit more spacey and both have a King Bed-- one has a dresser and the other has a closet for additional storage. There is also a second Full Bathroom on this floor, featuring a glass and tile enclosed shower, and another skylight!
Other amenities include WiFi, Smart TV, Gas Grill, parking, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Local Musts-Dos include shopping along Commercial Street (explore the colorful and geometric “Duct Type” Art at Tim-Scapes or check out the rotating Pop-Up Exhibitions at Gallery 444), spending a day at one of the many beaches (our favorites are Provincetown Harbor or Race Point Beach), stopping into Far Land Provisions to grab a specialty sandwich or pick up a few gourmet groceries, or enjoying the vivacious nightlife (try Pepe’s Wharf for a romantic beachfront dinner for two, Provincetown Brewing Company for some locally inspired Brewskis or Post Office Cafe & Cabaret for dinner and a one-of-a-kind drag show experience!)
