There was a bit of confusion around getting an early check in. The host somewhat dragged out the response on whether or not we could have an early check-in until about three hours before on the day of. We would have preferred them to just tell us no from the start. They also accidentally sent us a message that we could check in early and then took it back. Overall, though, the house was perfect and slept everyone comfortably. The walls are slightly thin and pipes might be a bit old as I slept in the master bedroom and heard the sinks and toilet flushing above me quite loudly. The area was perfect though and felt like a little oasis. I felt like the price was slightly high just given it was the off-season but definitely worth it.

Great house with amazing views and quick walk or bike ride to the beach! Also quick walk or bike ride to Nickerson. Would definitely stay again. Del Mar is very communicative and responsive too.

Our four generation stay in this home was perfect. The house was big enough for all of us but also amenable to being together in the great room. The dining room held us all plus various local relatives who dropped in for dinner most nights. The kitchen was well equipped and big enough for several cooks at a time. We loved that the hosts provided beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, high chair and many other amenities for this crowd. Thank you to the owners for all your thoughtfulness. Looking forward to our next annual escape from Texas to the Cape!

What a beautiful house. We all felt home in no time and were charmed by its view to the ocean.
