This property is WAY overpriced. CONS: The ocean front seating area shown in the listing is NOT part of the property - the owner of that piece of property informed us of this when we inadvertently trespassed. There are NO WINDOW SCREENS in the master suite! You can either fall asleep listening to the ocean or sleep bug free. You can't do both. There is no clothesline to hang beach towels to dry. We hung ours over the deck railing and they blew off and fell into the surrounding brush which was rife with poison ivy/oak. The house needs maintenance. There's a cracked window in the master bath with a nasty film on the glass and there's peeling paint on the wall near that window. Sofa covers are stained as well as some dining chair seats. PROS: the location is GORGEOUS; the serenity was AMAZING; the kitchen is EXTREMELY well appointed - we found every kitchen gadget, pan and container we needed to cook a diverse variety of meals; the deck table/chairs with built-in fire pit.

The property offers awesome ocean views and, while small, makes excellent use of space. The house is very clean, well maintained, and stocked with all the amenities you need—including a good washer and dryer. Access to the beach is via very steep stairs, but if you’re in decent shape it’s manageable—we even carried an infant and a 4-year-old several times without issue.That said, with the price set to double next year, it makes the property much less desirable to return to, despite its many positives.
