This home and our trip far exceeded our high expectations. The pictures look beautiful but when you arrive at the house it is immediately apparent that they care about guests having a happy and easy stay. The kitchen made cooking a breeze with all the tools and dishes we could need, the living room was stocked with games, and the loft had a large set of books. We expected the guest house to be basic and possibly a bit spooky with the house tucked into the woods, but it was absolutely stunning, fully stocked, and as cozy and comfortable as could be. It was clear a lot of intention to detail was put in here. We would and hope to stay here again!

We had 3 families here for a wedding. It was close to the venue. We were able to have 1 family in the guest house which was a younger couple and the old couples in the main house. We were very happy with it.

In normal times, this property would be an excellent base for Wellfleet activities - the proximity to Long Pond and Wellfleet centre are big pluses. The house is well arranged for a family holiday and the guest house very useful. I think this would usually be a peaceful location, despite the proximity to the 6, which we rarely heard. BUT a big health warning - a major housing construction directly behind the house on Lawrence Rd which involves trucks beeping/reversing pretty much constantly and bulldozers operating 5 days a week from 7 am (sometimes 6.45). This got progressively worse during our stay mid/late August 2025 and I think will be a big problem for future guests, at least during this stage of the construction. The entire project is due to complete end 2026, so guests should definitely check where it’s at before booking.

Great accomodations, but really too far for me to walk into town. Esp in 90 weather. Otherwise, I loved everything about it.
