Overall we had a great time at this home. The location (both on the beach and walking distance to downtown) is incredible. The house itself has great bones but is definitely showing its age: a few outlets didnt work and as such there are loads of extension cords strewn about. The kitchen has next to nothing beyond the plates and cookware you need (no basics like butter or oil and no dishwasher). But the biggest issue is that 4 different people tried to use the door code and couldnt get it open. Thankfully a guy who said he owned the house was next door saw us and let us in. Also, if you didnt see it, it's also important to note that check in isnt until 4pm and checkout is early at 10 which was a bit a bummer. That said, it was a great weekend in a beautiful spot.

We loved our stay here. Location was excellent and it’s a very cool older house. We loved the character. It’s about a 15 min walk to the middle of Commercial St. But the best part was being right on the water and the view. Beach time any time you want!

Our Del Mar stay was beautiful. There were 8 of us and we fit in comfortably. It’s charming, with a beautiful lounge area and amazing deck. It’s a tiny bit further out from the center of town but we just got bikes and it was easy. Would definitely stay again.

Everything we were looking for! On the beach, walk to town, great open layout, comfy lived in feel, responsive host. Will be back!
